Chitkara College of Pharmacy enters into the arena of collaborating with Panacea Biotec
Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Chitkara University, Punjab, enters into a new arena of collaborating with prestigious and dynamic Pharmaceutical company, Panacea Biotec, Mohali, regarding sensitive issues of drug discovery.
Regarding the same, Chitkara College of Pharmacy, recently hosted a meeting with the experts and high-level delegates from the company, including Dr Sudheer Sharma, GM, Drug research and Development at Panacea research Centre, Mohali, a state-of-the-art research Laboratory based at Mohali.
The discussions were focused on the potential areas of pharmaceutical research for mutual benefit of both the organizations.
The company showed keen interest in looking at the ground-breaking research work being carried out at the Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Chitkara University, Punjab, and give some very important projects to the organization, which promises to add a new dimension to the learning atmosphere of the educational institute by exposing the students to commercial research besides the ongoing pure research going on in Chitkara College of Pharmacy.
Fruitful discussions regarding the delineation of potential research areas of mutual interest were also carried out. The areas discussed were bioenhancement, opioid dependence, combination anti-inflammatory products and modified plant based accipients.
