Chitkara College of Nursing organises a national conference ‘NUTURE 2018’ in collaboration with AMEN

National Conference NUTURE 2018 in Collaboration with AMEN was conducted by Chitkara College of Nursing on 16th February 2018 at Chitkara University. The theme of the conference was ‘Strategic Nursing Management’. The conference hosted sessions by notable & learned speakers like Dr Sandhya Ghai(Principal NINE, PGIMER, Chandigarh); Captain Neelam Deswal (CNO, Fortis Hospital Mohali); Ms. Jaspreet Sodhi (Vice Principal, Sidhu Colleg of Nursing, Ludhiana); Dr. Saurabh Lall,(GM – Hospital Operations, Max healthcare, Delhi); Mr.James Thomas (Principal,College of Nursing, Lucknow), Dr. Sukhpal & Dr. Manju Dhandapani (Lecturer. PGIMER, Chandigarh).
The sessions were placed around the central concept of leadership in nursing. It addressed contemporary questions related to Quality, Accreditation & documentation in Nursing; Soft skills & effective communication techniques for Nurses, Challenges in nursing education and innovation & Technology in Modern Day Nursing.
One panel discussion on Ethics & Medico-Legal Issues in Contemporary Nursing was was in between the sessions. There were more than 300 participants all over the country. This conference was a complete learning experience for all the participants!!
