Chitkara College of Education celebrates International Mother Language Day 2018
Chitkara College of Education celebrated the International Mother Language Day on 21st February 2018 with a theme, “Sustainable Futures through Multilingual Education (UNESCO)”.
The students of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Pharm D, Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and B.Ed. who belongs to different states like Bihar, Haryana, Punjab, Nagaland, Kerala, Mizoram, Jharkhand and Himachal Pradesh participated in various activities conducted by Alpha Teachers with a motive to promote awareness of the linguistic and cultural diversity of Indian states. The activities ranged from paragraph writing, singing a song, writing idioms and phrases to introducing oneself in their native language.
Students also expressed their views in their own mother tongue which was a wonderful opportunity for the others to know about different languages, cultures and diversities.
