Chitkara Centre for Academic Excellence organized Wordsworth Training Programme for the CSL faculty & alpha teachers

Chitkara University is the land of endless learning and opportunities, where not only the students but also the faculty members get conducive platforms to explore their potential. Keeping the legacy alive, Chitkara Centre for Academic Excellence (CCAE) organized Wordsworth Training Programme in the association with Office of Information Technology exclusively for the CSL faculty and alpha teachers today, with the aim to keep them up to the ante and add to their skill set.
This one day workshop equipped the participants with the Wordsworth Language software so that they can implement the same in their sessions to aid students with honing their language skills and derive maximum outcome-based learning. The participants were given a demonstration about the working of the software through lots of activities, which kept the environment of the workshop quite lively. All the four components, majorly listening, speaking, Reading and Writing are well taken care of through the software, which has numerous activities for Prep, Intermediate and Advanced levels. It also has an additional component of Life Skills, which will help students get prepared for Interview and Group Discussions.
The Resource Person for the workshop was Mr. Pawan Mehta, Associate Director, IT, Chitkara University while Mr. Gurminder Gill from Wordsworth English Language Lab was the trainer for the same.
