Chitkara Business School signs MoU with Insurance Institute of India

Chitkara Business School signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Insurance Institute of India (III) on April 18, 2023, at a ceremony held in Mumbai. The signing of the MoU was attended by eminent personalities from both institutions, including Dr. Kiran Mehta and Dr. Rashmi Aggarwal from Chitkara Business School and Secretary General Mr. S.N. Satpathy, III, Secretary Mr. Kedar P. Sant, and Director, College of Insurance, Shri P. Jaipuria, along with 15 members of III.

This collaboration between Chitkara Business School and the Insurance Institute of India is expected to provide immense benefits to the students, researchers, and faculty of both institutions. Under the terms of the MoU, B.Com (Hons) and BBA Fintech students at Chitkara Business School will have the opportunity to complete a professional Licentiate Certificate during their program. This will enable them to acquire practical skills and knowledge in the insurance industry, which will be a valuable asset when they enter the job market.

In addition, MBA Finance students will have an opportunity to specialize in Actuarial Science, which is a field that involves the use of mathematical and statistical methods to assess risk in various industries, including insurance.
