Chitkara Business School organized its 2nd national level faculty workshop on ‘Art of Writing a Research Paper’
Chitkara Business School organized its 2nd two days national level faculty workshop on ‘Art of Writing a Research Paper’ on 11th – 12th November 2017. 43 participants from 8 Indian states and 17 different academic institutions and corporate houses participated in the workshop. Arunachal University of Studies, Kurukshetra University, Guru Jambheshwar University, Punjab Agriculture University, Punjab Technical University, Guru Granth Sahib World University, Lovely Professional University, CGC, SD College are among the main academic institutions from which participants have registered. Vodafone India Limited, BHEL, MTNL, Findoc Financial Services group are prominent corporates from where participants attended the workshop.
The two-day workshop unpacked what constitutes a great research paper and the outlines the pleasures and pitfalls of writing it. With the help of characteristic examples and activities, the workshop served as a practical guide to the art of writing papers.

Generating and choosing an idea, Connecting with the reader, Literature review, Making claims and supporting them, Drafting a research paper, Citations and referencing, Abstract, title and keywords, Tools and Techniques, Lecture, activities and discussions.
