Chitkara Business School faculty Acclaimed for Research Contributions

Chitkara University is delighted to announce that Dr. Amandeep Singh, Associate Dean and Professor of Marketing at Chitkara Business School, recently made significant contributions to various international forums and research endeavors.

Dr. Singh had the privilege of presenting a paper titled “Digitalizing the Indian Economy” at the OBIC-Budapest Business School Annual Conference. His insightful research shed light on the digital transformation of the Indian economy, garnering attention and appreciation from fellow academicians and industry experts. Additionally, he had the honor of chairing a session focused on “Development and Asian Cities,” where he facilitated engaging discussions and contributed to the exchange of valuable ideas.

His scholarly achievements were further celebrated at the book launch ceremony for “Cities in Asia.” Dr. Singh’s exceptional contribution to the book, specifically his chapter on the “Smart Cities Mission in India,” received commendation and acclaim from the audience, reinforcing his expertise in the field.

In his continuous pursuit of knowledge and global collaborations, Dr. Singh embarked on a research visit to Portugal. He undertook research work on international markets at the renowned Faculdade de Economia da Universidade do Porto, showcasing his commitment to expanding the frontiers of academic research and fostering cross-cultural partnerships.
