Chitkara Business School and WNS Global Services Launch COE-BFS Academy
Chitkara Business School, Chitkara University, has entered into a strategic partnership with WNS Global Services to enhance industry-oriented finance education. The collaboration, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aims to bridge the industry-academia gap by equipping MBA Finance and Fintech students with WNS-certified training in Investment Banking, Anti-Money Laundering, Commercial Lending, and Mortgage.
As a key milestone of this partnership, the WNS Centre of Excellence – Banking & Financial Services (B&FS) Academy was inaugurated at Chitkara Business School. This specialised learning hub will provide students with hands-on experience, industry-driven insights, and skill development aligned with the evolving needs of the financial sector. Through the academy, students will gain access to cutting-edge financial practices, real-time case studies, and mentorship from seasoned industry professionals.
Industry leaders from WNS Global Services engaged with students during the event, sharing their expertise and perspectives on the latest trends in banking and financial services. Their interactions reinforced the significance of integrating academic learning with practical industry applications to produce future-ready finance professionals.
Congratulating the initiative, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro Chancellor, Chitkara University, emphasised that the establishment of the COE-BFS Academy reflects the institution’s commitment to nurturing talent in emerging finance domains. She highlighted that such structured training aligns with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which advocates for bridging the skill gap between academia and industry.
