Chetan Bhagat’s electrifying talk was aired at 4PM on May 9 on Radio Chitkara 107.8
Chetan Bhagat was at Chitkara International School to address several educators from the tricity of Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula. He had spoken for about one-and-a-half hour and his talk was aired on Radio Chitkara 107.8 on May 9. His talk will be repeated on Radio Chitkara.
He shared how important it was to know the aspirations, dreams and challenges of the students. He was of the opinion that Indian population is not trained to face the globalised world but this can be enabled with proper school education.
Chetan Bhagat is an acclaimed author and has penned down several best sellers, including fiction and non-fiction.
He was at the school to attend a seminar organized by the Chitkara International School and stated that redesigning the traditional model of a school, perhaps using technology to impart learning, was needed. Adding that the school curriculum should be updated and designed with respect to the professional world.
There has to be certain changes incorporated in the curriculum from time to time keeping in mind the needs of industry and service sector.
