CEGR names Chitkara ‘Outstanding University in India for Placement 2019’ at Indian Education Festival
Chitkara University, Punjab, has been named ‘Outstanding University in India for Placement 2019’ by CEGR – Centre for Education Growth and Research; during the Inaugural Summit of Indian Education Festival on April 18, 2019, at New Delhi.
Hon’ble Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University; received the award from Prof (Dr.) K K Aggarwal, Chairman, National Board of Accreditation; and Prof. A. Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE, New Delhi; in the presence of Prof. Ravish Roshan, Director, CEGR; and Prof. A P Mittal, Member Secretary, AICTE.
Prof. K. K. Aggarwal, Chairman, National Board of Accreditation; said, “Real Education happens only when the learner enjoys it. With this dictum in mind, Centre for Education Growth and Research, a Think Tank is organising this Education Festival. I believe this festival will serve as a great motivator for Education at all levels.”
Indian Education Festival is the most remarkable and innovative step and will lead to countrywide knowledge awareness. The aim is to spread the cause of education, pan India with the objective to motivate common people and academia to celebrate and contribute to the noble cause of education.
As a part of the Indian Education Festival, the following events were conducted – National Seminar in various cities of India, MDP by eminent academicians for corporate, FDP by Academic Leaders for Faculty Members, Lecture Sessions by eminent experts for Students, and Role Play & Nukkad Natak at various locations.
