CEED Protothon 2025 Grand Finale Showcases Innovation and Entrepreneurial Excellence
The Centre for Entrepreneurship Education and Development (CEED) at Chitkara University hosted the grand finale of CEED Protothon 2025, celebrating ingenuity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial spirit. The event marked the culmination of a competitive journey that began with 187 young innovators, with only the Top 10 teams making it to the final stage. Their prototypes demonstrated exceptional creativity, addressing real-world challenges with innovative solutions, reflecting Chitkara University’s commitment to fostering an ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The event was further elevated by an Explore Talks session featuring Seema Bansal, Vice Chairperson of the Punjab Development Commission, moderated by Piyush Garg, Vice President of CEED. Bansal, an accomplished leader, shared valuable insights on governance reforms, women’s leadership, and India’s potential as a global innovation hub. Her discussion inspired students to embrace perseverance, strategic thinking, and self-belief as essential qualities for success.
A particularly special moment was Bansal’s return to her alma mater after 30 years, having been a student of Dr. Ashok K Chitkara. She spoke about her professional journey from Boston Consulting Group (BCG) to leading governance initiatives in Punjab, emphasising the impact of academia-industry collaborations in shaping meaningful change. Her words resonated deeply with students, especially aspiring entrepreneurs seeking to drive transformative impact in their respective fields.
The jury panel for the finale included Noa Muzzaffi, Founder of Innoa Ventures, who provided expert feedback to the finalists, encouraging them to refine their ideas with a strong business perspective. Her presence further reinforced the event’s emphasis on real-world application and the need for sustainable, scalable solutions.
The event was graced by Dr. Ashok K. Chitkara, Chancellor, and Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor, who reiterated Chitkara University’s unwavering commitment to social impact and entrepreneurial innovation.
