CCP Students and Faculty presented Research work in 67th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress at Mysuru
In continuation with the practice of enhancing learning about industrial and scientific happenings and understanding of subjects through exposure to international gatherings and activities, students and Faculty of Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Sahil Khurana, Radhika Singla, Sangeet, Gurvinder Kaur, Tejaswini, Ritima, Pushpinder Kaur, Ishan Chauhan, Anurang Sharma, Shivali Garg, Anirudh Gupta and Vasu Trehan (all B Pharm), along with faculty members, Dr. Rakesh Sindhu and Mr. Arvind Sharma, Assistant Professors, CCP, were sent for participation and presented their research work in 67th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC) held at JSS University, Mysuru between 19-21 Dec 2015 which witnessed participation of approx. 10,000 pharmacy academic/industrial professional globally. The entire experience was programmed to give right exposure at right time to students.
Dr. Inderbir Singh, Associate Professor and HOD (Pharmaceutics), Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Chitkara University, Punjab, delivered an expert talk titled “Eudragit Iron Oxide Conjugates: Development of Mucoadhesive Drug Delivery Systems” during Faculty Development and Research Initiative Programme organized by Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (GNIPST), Panihati, Kolkata, West Bengal on 21-23 Dec 2015 attended by pharmacy teachers from various institutes in the vicinity. Dr. Singh has been working on the development of novel drug delivery systems and has generated related patents and publications in various national and international journals in the area.
