CCP students attend International Conference Pharmanecia ’18
Students of B. Pharmacy (VIIth Semester), M. Pharmacy (1st year) and the faculty of Chitkara College of Pharmacy, attended the International Conference Pharmanecia ’18 organised by Operant Pharmacy Federation at Gudlavalleru, Vijayawada (A.P.) from . The theme of the conference was ‘Pharmaceutical and Clinical Research in India: Current Scenario, Opportunities, Challenges and Future Prospective’. The conference exposed students to Pharmaceutical development, clinical research and recent developments.
Mr Vivek Puri, Assistant Professor, was awarded with OPF Nobel Researcher Award, while students Pritima Dhiman, B Pharm (VIIth semester), bagged the Best Oral Presentation Award, and Govind Arora, M Pharm (1st year), was presented the OPF Award of Appreciation. Dr. Thakur Gurjeet Singh, HOD M Pharm Pharmacology, delivered a talk on ‘Cognitive dysfunction, affective states and vulnerability to substance dependence & its related withdrawal syndrome: an insight’.
