CCP organised industrial visits for Pharmacy students to Unichem Labs, Baddi

As per the Academic philosophy, students of B.Pharm & M. Pharm correlated their academic sessions to Industrial applications by way of an industrial visit to Unichem labs, Baddi and by an expert session by Mr Pritesh Bhatia, RM, Glaxo I ltd.. Standardised procedures for inventory management, sampling, quality checks, processing, operations, packing and quality assurance relevant for product uniformity from lot to lot, and the students need to comprehend the relevance of this while going through the pharmaceutical academic routine. Dr S Arora, coordinated with Mr Amit Kaushal, Plant Head, Unichem for the visit, while Ms Shiwali Sharma, Asstt Prof, Dr Sonia Dhiman, Dr Madhukar Garg, Asso Prof, Mr Chanpreet Singh, Asstt Prof, Mr Ravinder K Jaura, Asso Prof, executed the visit for different batches during the session.

Pharmaceutical marketing requires knowledge, skill, wisdom and additional marketing aptitude that comes through regular correlation with the pharmaceutical market. Mr Pritesh Bhatia had an exhaustive and at length deliberations on the relevant issues with students of Final year UG and #G programs, giving important tips for facing placement interviews. Mr Ravinder Singh, External Affairs, coordinated the sessionThe students also had the opportunity to interact with the strategic marketing management and HR team from Sun Pharma before proceeding into the final stages of their academic program.
