CCP Conducts Annual IPR Clinic, Pharma Innovation Expo & Awards 2016
Chitkara College of Pharmacy on Innovation High Lane-Conducts IPR Clinic, Pharma Expo & Awards and Collaborative Consultancy Exercises
CCP conducted its annual IPR clinic as a Nodal IPR centre for Punjab State Council for Science & Technology ( PSCST) Chandigarh, with a theme focused on Innovation conceptualization to commercialization, attended by students at undergraduate as well as postgraduate and Ph.D student community, along with other Pharma professionals in the vicinity.
The added theme in this annual event was Pharma expo, with companies like Oniosome, Agritech, Chemical Resources, Natural Solution, Shaleen Pharma, MMG Healthcare, Pushkar Pharma and others showcasing their innovative and traditional Pharma formulation and API product line, with big Pharma’s like SUN, UNICHEM, Abbott and others also constructively participating. Innovations by upcoming Pharma and API units were appreciated for Excellence awards with active advisory participation of senior industry experts, academicians and drug regulatory personnels. The esteemed guests included Sh Vinay Chaturvedi, Plant Head, Glenmark Pharma, Sh Ravindra Dhapola HR, Abbott Healthcare, Sh Pawan Goya, Chemical resources, Mr Shaleen Singh, MD, Shaleen Pharma, Mr Narendra Ahuja and Mr Batra, Sun Pharma, Mr Pawan Kamra, Chandigarh Agrotech and others. The technical sessions on IPR were conducted by Dr Parikshit Bansal, Prof Ravi Kiran, IPR Thapar Univ, Ms Geetika Valiya, RG National Law Univ, Patiala and Prof Dr B S Bhoop, UIPS, Chandigarh.
Parallel to the events, CCP signed MoU with Natural Solutions, Mumbai for consultancy work by CCP for Development and Quality Standardisation for Herbal products with Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Hon Vice chancellor and Dr Anil Sharma, MD exchanging documents.
