CBS faculty represents Chitkara University at national conference in Gurgaon

Ms. Shivani Inder Chopra, Assistant Professor, Chitkara Business School, represented Chitkara University at ‘Eighth National Conference on Indian Capital Market’ at IBS in Gurgaon.

Ms. Shivani presented a paper on ‘Autocorrelation in Indian Stock Market: An Empirical Investigation’, during the third Technical Session at the ‘Eighth National Conference on Indian Capital Market: Emerging Issues’.

The conference was inaugurated by Dr. G.C. Nath, Senior Vice-President, CCIL, Mumbai. The technical sessions at the conference were chaired by eminent academicians comprising Dr. G.C. Nath, Prof. K.V. Bhanu Murthy (Dept. of Commerce, Delhi University), Dr. C.P. Gupta (Head, Dept. of Financial Studies, Delhi University), Dr. Raj Singh (G.D. Goenka University, Gurgaon), Dr. Madhu Vij (FMS, Delhi University) and Dr. O.P Gupta (Director, IBS).

The paper presented by Ms. Shivani got appreciated by the experts at the conference on the basis of quality of research and efforts put in by the faculty. Ms. Shivani is a qualified Cost and Management Accountant, just recently added CMA qualification to her present profile. Indian Stock Markets: its governance and dynamics have been her forte.
