CBS Faculty awarded for Best Research in International Conference, GBMETICT-2015 at Jaipur

Dr. Kiran Mehta and Dr. Renuka Sharma, Associate Professor at Chitkara Business School presented their research papers in 16th International Conference, GBMETICT-2015 at Jaipur, India on 30th & 31st May 2015. The conference was organized in association with Research Development Association of Rajasthan and Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

One of their paper entitled “Size Effect and Seasonality in Size- Sorted Portfolios: Evidences from India” authored by Dr. Renuka Sharma and Dr. Kiran Mehta got best paper award under the Track: Contemporary Issues & Innovations in Accounting and Finance.

Another paper entitled “A Study of Linkage Between Indian Stock Market and Macroeconomic Indicators” authored by Dr. Kiran Mehta and Dr. Renuka Sharma also got best paper award under the Track : Contemporary Issues & Innovations in Global and Indian Economy.

Both these papers will be published in refereed journals of international repute.

Chitkara University congratulates Dr. Kiran Mehta and Dr. Renuka Sharma for their achievement and excellent research efforts. While appreciating both teachers, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University remarked that Research is essential part of teaching-learning process. She urged all Faculty members that such research efforts and their findings should come back to classrooms and must be shared with the students during lectures to raise the standard of education.
