CBS, in association with UAS, Germany, holds second International Workshop on Change Management
About 20 MBA students of Chitkara Business School and 20 Management students of various Masters programs of University of Applied Sciences, Osnabruck, Germany, organized a five-day International Workshop on Change Management at Chitkara University, Punjab.
Dr. Andreas Fiehn, Medical Director, and Prof. Dr. Heike Schinnenburg from UAS, Osnabruck, Germany, were Faculty resource for the workshop. The workshop started with a welcoming note followed by consecutive sessions on Change Management.
The main aim of the workshop was to jointly undertake research work, share the learning methods, teaching pedagogy and intellectual resources of both universities. It is important to mention here that there are many MBA students who visit UAS, Germany, on semester exchange and are attending summer schools every year.
This is the second year consecutively when such workshop was organized jointly between Chitkara Business School and UAS, Osnabrueck, Germany.
On concluding day, Lisa Teresa, one of the participants from Germany remarked, “India is a remarkable place to visit and more so are the people of India. We are amazed with the intellect and hospitality of Indian students at Chitkara. This workshop has changed our perspective and we are going back to Germany with lots of memories and academic learning.”
Dany Pieck, another participant from Germany said, “In the beginning of the workshop, we were quiet and not sure of its outcome. After teaming up and starting of joint exercises with in the groups, we started feeling as if we were in India for centuries. It has been wonderful learning platform for us. We wish to visit Chitkara again and again in future.”
Wiebke Hoyer, another participant said, “Learning was enoromous and splendid. We are taking so many memories back and wish to come again and again to Chitkara on such academic events.”
While congratulating all CBS students and Faculty members, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University, remarked, “This is called exchange in real terms where in participants were open to learn through common pedagogy at one platform. We are looking forward to continue having a strong association with UAS, Germany, in future as well. We congratulate all participating students from CBS who made it a grand success.”
