CAAN Organises Grand Alumni Meet for BFSI Graduates
The Chitkara Alumni Association Network (CAAN) hosted an enriching and memorable Alumni Meet for the School of BFSI (Banking Financial Services and Insurance) at the Chitkara University campus. The event witnessed an amazing bonhomie of more than 100 BFSI alumni coming together from PAN India, engaging in networking sessions, business and financial planning discussions, and cherishing candid moments.
The Alumni Meet emphasised the fact that there is no age bar for learning, and the School of BFSI caters to all age groups, providing valuable education and skills to individuals pursuing careers in the dynamic financial industry.
One of the highlights of this year’s Alumni Meet was the introduction of two prestigious awards, the “Financial Advisor Award” and the “VisionPreneur Award,” recognising the outstanding achievements and contributions of BFSI alumni in their respective fields.
Distinguished industry leaders served as the Jury Members and honoured the deserving winners during the event. The esteemed Jury Members included Vikas Almadi, CEO of VNT; Gautam Bhalla, VP of Axis Bank; and Gagan Gupta, AGM of ICICI Bank. Alongside them, Prof. Harkiran Kaur, Pro Vice Chancellor of CAAN, and Dr. Aman Chugh, Director and CEO of CXO’s NextGen Centre of Excellence, graced the occasion.
The Alumni Meet provided a platform for alumni to reconnect with their peers, faculty members, and mentors. It offered a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences, and explore potential collaborations within the BFSI domain.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Harkiran Kaur expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all the BFSI alumni for their continued support and success in the industry. She highlighted the importance of alumni engagement in fostering a strong bond between the university and its graduates, creating a symbiotic relationship for mutual growth and development.
