Our budding nurses interact with those abandoned and physically challenged
It was a humane gesture expressed by the budding nurses of Chitkara College of Nursing as they interacted with those who are abandoned and left by their families. Nursing is a noble profession and compassion is an important part of becoming a nurse. Our students displayed their bit towards people who are physically challenged.
Chitkara College of Nursing organized a visit to Home for Destitute: Prabh Asra at Kurali, Punjab. The Home accommodates men, children and women who are abandoned by their families, physically and mentally challenged persons and patients suffering from various ailments.
As a part of the curriculum of B.Sc. Nursing second and third year, students interacted with the authorities of the institute and the people residing in the institute. The educational visit served as the great learning experience for the nursing students.
