BSc Nursing final year students of CCN conducted a Pulse Polio Program under the National Health Program 2018

BSc Nursing Final year students of Chitkara College of Nursing has been a part of 2018 National Health Program from January 28th to 30th 2018.

The duties of the pulse polio program were signed to the students from CHC, Kalomajra. Students were divided into different groups and allotted with various villages like Rajpura, Neelpur, Dhamoli and Kalomajra. Students were given prior training in the Community Health Center for PPP(Pulse Polio Program) on January 27th by the Block Extension Educator Mrs Daljit Kaur. The students have covered the allotted village in their respective polio booths and even door to door visit also.

The students learned many practical aspects regarding polio program and the whole program went successfully and students got appreciated by the SMO (Senior Medical Officer) for their active participation in the health program for continuous three days including Sunday.
