Blood Group Screening Camp Organised By Chitkara School Of Health Sciences

Community services have always been an integral part of Chitkara School of Health Sciences and keeping this thought in mind, a successful Blood Group Screening Camp was organised on January 30 for the supporting staff of Chitkara University, Punjab. This activity was made successful with the unstinted support of the Administrative Department of the university.

The camp was conducted under the guidance of Dr Preethi Pradhan, Dean, Chitkara School of Health Sciences; Dr. Meenakshi Sood, Deputy Dean, Chitkara School of Health Sciences and Ms. Rina Angel, Director, Administration. Ms. Pallavi Aggarwal, Assistant Professor, Chitkara School of Health Sciences and Mr. Anuj Sharma, Lab Technician, Chitkara School of Health Sciences lead the event in coordination with Mr. Balwinder, Jr. Admin Officer, Administration.

The 2nd Year students of Medical Lab Technology assisted the technicians for Blood Group Testing and the 1st year students did the registration of the staff members. A total of 107 Blood Grouping Tests were done which comprised of 60 Peons, 25 Sweepers, 20 Gardeners, 2 Supervisors and the reports were released simultaneously.

Kudos to the team of Chitkara School of Health Sciences and the Administration team for organizing such a wonderful activity with such a noble cause !!
