Our basketball, volleyball teams bags second, third positions at IIT Roorkee

Chitkara ‪‎basketball‬ and volleyball‬ teams bagged the second and third position in ‪‎Sportsfest‬ Sangram at IIT Roorkee.

Sangram was a three-day sports carnival hosted by IIT Roorkee. The event witnessed profuse and enthusiastic participation from the best institutes of the nation.

The level of toiled preparations and perseverance that goes into it inevitably made it a podium where our teams explored the sportsmen within them.

Driven by vigour, zeal and resolve, each player of ours marked their mornings with enthusiasm and evenings with determination. The multitude of the popular sport events has several informal events like wrestling, skating, movies, etc. furnished an environment of competition that had recreation for the students to unwind.

The final champions relished their highs of triumph and promised to themselves that they will take this further. Sangram’ 15 experience for our students promised to be exhilarating from the beginning to the end. The staff, faculty and students of the University wishes the students, who are the winners, for their achievement and for their future.
