Akash Sharma, Mechanical Engineering Student at ASML, Netherlands

For making our students learn across international platforms, we have tied up with several colleges and universities across the globe to aid semester exchange programs and more.

It was Europe Calling for Akash Sharma of Chitkara School of Mechanical Engineering, who is enjoying “The European Summer at Amsterdam”. Akash did his internship from Fonty’s University in Netherlands and on basis of that he got the opportunity of paid internship at ASML multinational company.

ASML is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of chip-making equipment. Its vision is to enable affordable microelectronics that improve the quality of life. To achieve this, the mission is to invent, develop, manufacture and service advanced technology for high-tech lithography, metrology and software solutions for the semiconductor industry and Akash is a witness to this at ASML.

Akash expresses his gratitude to his alma mater for giving him the wonderful opportunity for letting him be more and allowing him to explore his talents as a student.

He said that he got the chance to visit Netherlands as a part of the semester exchange program and the whole experience was amazing. He urges his fellow students to opt for an exchange program to any country. It will help them get an international experience, which is good for growing up as an individual and as a professional.
