During his talk, Gupta recounted his transition from well-paid corporate jobs to founding Zypp Electric in 2017 alongside Rashi Agarwal. Zypp Electric, a trailblazer in the electric vehicle industry, offers electric bikes specifically designed for delivery purposes. The company supplies electric scooters to local merchants and major e-commerce companies for last-mile deliveries, boasting an impressive client roster that includes Swiggy, Zepto, Flipkart, Rapido, Blinkit, Zomato, Uber, and Amazon.
Gupta emphasised the importance of resilience and persistence in the entrepreneurial journey. He encouraged students to dream big and not be deterred by failures, which he described as an integral part of the path to success. Reflecting on his own experiences, he spoke about the initial struggles and sacrifices required to set up Zypp Electric, stressing that true entrepreneurship involves giving up comforts and leisure activities to focus on creating something impactful.
“Give up your favourite spots, stop going to the parties, create that journey for yourself and for others to see,” Gupta remarked, inspiring students to forge their own paths with dedication and vision.
