Advertising Quiz “Brand O’ Holic” Organized by Chitkara School of Mass Communication

A Day dedicated to evaluate the brand awareness among youth of the campus and how accurately they can remember the logos, punch lines, TV ads, ambassadors of their preferred brands in the advertising quiz named- Brand O’ Holic . It was organised by Chitkara School of Mass Communication and the host were students of MAJMC final year (those who have opted advertising as optional specialization). It was well received in which around 70 students and staff of University took part. The entry fee collected will be donated for social cause and needy ones.

The quiz initiated with the written test followed by final quiz in the Pulitzer hall in which only seven teams qualified among students and four teams of teachers participated . Five teams were allowed as wild card entries. The final quiz was based on 3 main rounds in which first round was based on logos, mascots and slogans second round was on print, radio and television ads and final round comprised of rapid fire.

Team `Blackberry’ comprising Honey and Abhishek from ECE second year won the quiz.
Students worked under the guidance of their faculty Ms. Gitanjali Kalia and had the innovative question bank was interesting both for teams and audience.
