Chitkara College of Pharmacy (CCP) continuing with its focus on qualitative academic delivery conducted Faculty Development Program for its faculty. Bringing into focus the need for appropriate and researched and industrial relevant delivery involving continuous monitoring of individual student so that he/she develops required professional and human values with specialiosed skills, various experts sessions were conducted by outside experts including MMS Jaya Valia, Head, QA, ACME Pharma, Dr Harish Dureja, Pharma Sciences, MD Univ, Rohak, Dr P K Sharma, Dean Galgotia Univ Pharma, Dr A K Tiwary, Prof and Former Head, DPSDR, PU, Patiala, Dr Gulshan Bansal, DPSDR, PU, Patiala, Dr Sanjay Jachak, NIPER, Mohali, Dr Renu Bala, MD, Deren Pharma, Sh Sunil Verma, MD ACI Consultants and Dr Ranju Bansal, UIPS, PU, Chandigarh.

Parallel to the faculty development program (FDP) an Induatrial Certification Course was held for B Pharm/M Pharm and Pharm D students with focus on skill development in Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Data management and Regulatory Affairs. The sessions were conducted by Industry Experts Sh Sunil Verma, MD, ACI consultants and Dr Renu Bala, MD Deren Pharma. Pharmacovigilance involves continuous monitoring, data collection, statistical analysis and reporting on possible long term adverse implications of formulations approved for marketing. Pharmaceutical regiulatory affairs deals with appropriate documentary compliance to various national and international pharmaceutical regulations.. Students benefuitted by having exposure to various dimensions in pharmaceutical professional and work areas and acquiring advanced skills for a faster career.
