A Special 7 Days Nss Camp organised For the Volunteers of Chitkara College of Hospitality Management

The Volunteers of Chitkara College of Hospitality Management, Chitkara University, Punjab, recently participated in a 7 Days Special NSS Camp organized by the University. Under Fit India Initiative – Sports Day was organized for the students during which Yoga Sessions were conducted every day.

Many faculty members of the university were invited to share their knowledge on topics like ‘Toxicity In Water’, ‘Aviation Industry and the Air Traffic Control’, ‘Drug Abuse: Logic and Reasoning’. An introductory session for NSS with the students was conducted on ‘Insight to the students on Moral Values’.

The Chitkara College of Hospitality Management Volunteers took the initiative to promote and sensitize the school children and the residents of the adopted villages (Ram Nagar and Kalomajra) of Chitkara University, Punjab, by conducting a rally on ‘Health and Hygiene, Plastic Pollution & Gender Equality’.

A Blood Donation Camp was also organized by NSS in which a total of 500 donors participated. The National Science Day was celebrated on February 28 in which the NSS Volunteers showcased their talents in Singing, Dancing and Quiz Competitions.
