Vardaan, CSE student wins competition at Unite 2015 conference in Boston
Vardaan, a third-year Computer Science & Engineering student of Chitkara Institute of Engineering & Technology, won Google Project “Tango Competing & Microsoft Port to Windows Competition” and was given Project Tango Tablet – A Dive Virtual Reality Kit and Windows Testing Devices (Tablet & Phone) at Unity Event in Boston, USA.
He was also selected for Microsoft BizSpark and was given many tools and goodies for free. He also bagged many Internships at various Game Companies at the event. He got the privilege to meet Unity Technologies CEO David Helgason and has been promised an Internship at the Unity Technologies.
Unite was an opportunity to learn how to get the most out of the Unity engine, to meet up with Unity engineers and fellow professionals and to get the full lowdown on our development roadmap.
There were many great tech presentations from engineers as well as fellow Unity developers. People learnt about plans for new features and improvements in Unity, including more on their new range of services to help makegames more successful.
