Our Alumni, Prashant Arora from ECE 2006-2010 batch clears UPSC Civil Services Exam 2016

It is a moment of pride as our alumni Prashant Arora brings glory to us. Prashant has cleared UPSC Civil Services with flying colours.

We take utmost pride in sharing that Prashant from Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) 2006-2010 batch, Chitkara University, Punjab, has cleared the exam. Like his name – Prashant – he is tranquil and calm, traits, which paved his way to success.

Prashant, who was an outstanding student, was also the founder of “Revolution Club” at Chitkara University. During his four years at the Campus, he took up the noble cause of contributing to society in his own ways. He, along with his club members, taught kids coming from poor backgrounds at the Campus at evening classes besides collecting books, clothes and all the basic amenities to cater for the under privilege part of our society.

More than three lakh candidates apply for the civil services preliminary examination every year. The Civil Services Examination is a nationwide competitive examination in India conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to various Civil Services of the Government of India. The examination is the toughest examination in India with a success rate of 0.1%-0.3%, one of the lowest in the world.

Prashant’s hard work and dedication has paid off and we want to tell Prashant that ‘We are proud of You Prashant’.
