Chitkara student’s IoT-based projects bag 2 prizes in EUREKA: Innovative Design Projects

Students of the Department of Computer Applications participated in EUREKA: Innovative Design Projects with 5 IoT-based projects organised by Amity University, Noida, and bagged two prizes.

The Innovative design projects/ poster competition is organised during International Conference on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Leadership, December 19-21, 2018, to showcase the latest innovation and design trends in Engineering & Technology and related areas.

Project ‘Prometheus’ created by Ripudaman, Abhishek and Saurav, guided by Ms. Vidhyotma, bagged the second prize in the Poster Presentation category. Project ‘Smart Diaper’ created by Anmol Batra and Pulkit, guided by Ms. Vidhyotma, was placed third in the Innovative Design Projects category.

The Innovative design project is one of the ways in which college students can exhibit their creative skills and show entrepreneurial capabilities. The International conference provides a forum, wherein the participants get the opportunity to interact with academicians, scientists, industry experts and other fellow students to get feedback on their work and the latest market trends. The event is an endeavour to foster and enhance the culture of scientific inquiry, entrepreneurship and its relevance in real-world applications and underline the strong connection among the student community.
