Awaaz Club bags first spot in National Theatre Festival at Bengaluru

Awaaz Club of Chitkara University was declared the Winner of National Theatre Festival held at Bengaluru outshining 23 teams that participated in the competition.

Bhavna Ananad, Deepanshu and Sudhanshu of Chitkara Department of ‪‎Computer Sciences,‬ along with other students of Chitkara University, bagged the “First Prize” in Bloom Baptizer – National Theatre Festival Organised by Department of Theatre In Education, Christ University Bengaluru.

This festival which has been in existence for over half a decade is designed to be both competitive and collaborative and our team emerged as winners by showcasing their talent and hard work, which was appreciated by one and all.

Competitive to bring out quality and professionalism among performing teams, Awaaz managed to gain everyone’s attention through their efforts.

The festival was hosted by Christ University in collaboration with Script Peoples Theatre. Without being judgemental on the quality of content in written or staged plays, the judgment was based on value based themes.
