18 students leave for Summer Training and Certificate Programs of Hiram College, USA

Eighteen students- Rishav Sharma, PriyankaSood, ArjunDalal, Abhishek Sharma, ShreyaDadwal , ShalluAggarwal, Tarunpreet Singh, ShilpaDua ,Avichal, Chirag, Jaspreet, IshuDawar, Divyanshu Singh Chaudhary, Jatin Dalia, Roohpuneet Singh Goraya, Bhishamdeep Singh , IshanNahar, MaryadaDhamija, along with Mr. VikramMangla, Deputy Dean, Computer Applications, Chitkara University leave for Summer Training and Certificate Programs of Hiram College in USA as a part of an innovative Program for six weeks that includes extensive training, including classroom and out of classroom exposure to American interdisciplinary higher education and career training, coupled with cultural and global business experiences.

The program is designed to give the students taste of the American diverse education practices and liberal arts experience that fits with their aspirations and career paths in global professional environment.

Speaking to the students at the pre-departure orientation Dr Madhu Chitkara, Vice-Chancellor Chitkara University said that as it would be an excellent opportunity for the students to experience in person the extraordinary business, manufacturing, healthcare, educational and technology resources as would include visit to General Motors, Arcelor Mittal Steel, NASA, Case Western Reserve & Cleveland University in Northern Ohio.

The summer program would also take them sightseeing to Niagra Falls, Golf Course (with practical session), Cleveland City Cultural Tour, shopping and lots of Entertainment.
