10 students of B Pharm from Chitkara College of Pharmacy qualify for GPAT 2018
About 10 Students (batch 2014-18) of B Pharm program of Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Chitkara University, Punjab excelled and came thumbs up in the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2018, an annual all India examination conducted by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi for listing eligibility for MHRD scholarships for carrying out Post Graduate studies in Pharmaceutical Science courses at various National Pharma Academic/Research Institutes/Universities. While Shivam Mahajan shot into the first 100 qualifiers with a rank of 92 and score of 248, Radha Gupta followed closely with rank 124 with a score of 241 with Karishma at rank 160 and score 214. Others who made their mark included Himanshi (rank 590 with score 190), Nikita (rank 1112 with score 168), Gagandeep Kaur (rank 1021 score 171), Shivani rank 156, score 1609), Simran Kaur (rank 1456), Aman Singla (1021 score 171).
CCP has been focusing on academic excellence, making sure an industry relevant academic delivery focused on skill development in Drug Discovery and research, industrial technology, Quality control and analysis methods, regulatory documentation, human physiology, clinical therapeutics and management is provided along with regular mock tests on such scholarship exams. Apart from GPAT, NAPLEX, NABP and other tests are conducted.
