Strong International Focus

Programs taught in English by local and international faculty, student exchanges with partner universities all over the world, international research co-operation, dual-degree program development by international partners, and international faculty exchange – all of these are the norm at Chitkara University, making Chitkara education truly international and world-class.

Semester Exchange
Chitkara students have the option to finish the last half of their degree programs at our partner universities. Students visit these universities for six months to one year for completing their semesters abroad. Studying overseas helps them to learn new languages, appreciate other cultures, overcome challenges of living in another country and gain a greater understanding of the world.
Summer Programs
Summer Program is a short duration program of 2 to 4 weeks in various specialisations at one of our many global partner universities. Gain cultural awareness, expand your social network, make new friends who may become your future business collaborators in an increasingly interconnected world and experience learning in a classroom on a different continent.
International Competitions & Conferences
You will have endless opportunities to participate in international competitions & conferences such as MUN. These expose you to international academic standards and bring you in contact with students from different cultures and nationalities. The experiences you encounter thereof afford you a culturally sensitive perspective and acquaint you with what it is like to participate in a global set up.

International Faculty
We regularly invite faculty from top Global institutions across the world and this exposure helps our students understand diverse educational standards. Leadership Camps
We organise periodically student based leadership camps for 15 days or more where students travel overseas. These experiences expand your personal horizons, expose you to different cultural contexts and work ethic thus making you more flexible and adaptable, which are some key traits that modern businesses look for when hiring.
Study Based Scholarships
Many partner universities from among our outstanding network of global tie-ups offer full year scholarships and semester long scholarships to students through which study is absolutely free for the students for those terms. This allows for a lot of our talented and deserving students to gain international exposure and sets them up for success in the global society.
