Recognizing that both joy and sorrow are natural aspects of life, the centre encourages the choice of happiness and equips students with the tools to embrace life's challenges with grace.

At the heart of our philosophy lies the belief that flexibility is key to happiness, and we work diligently to help students nurture this choice. The HH Dalai Lama Centre for Happiness is not just an institution; it is a sanctuary where every being is enriched with joy, knowledge, optimism, success, and love. Our mission is to empower students with knowledge and foster their creativity, enabling them to find happiness while overcoming obstacles in society. While traditional education prepares students for their future careers, our institution of happiness prepares them for life, ensuring they embark on their journeys with resilience, compassion, and a profound sense of well-being.

This week's challenges were refreshingly easy and engaging. I've discovered the power of gratitude and the importance of taking short breaks during work. "A Year of Positive Thinking" was an inspiring read, instilling a positive transformation within me, enhancing my outlook and approach to life.

This week was very exciting, easy, and positive. Each day, I felt happy after completing daily activities like gratitude, mindful walks, reading a book, effective visualization, affirmations, and more. These practices helped me stay positive every day, and I even watched informative videos on YouTube and read "Attitude Is Everything."

The first week of the Perma Project of Happiness has been an eye-opening experience. I started with the pursuit of positive emotions and was amazed at how a simple shift in mindset could make such a difference. The exercises and practices introduced during this week helped me appreciate the little things in life and find joy in unexpected places. Focusing on positive emotions has improved my overall well-being.

The first week was focused on positive emotions, with activities like pasting positive sticky notes and enjoying a Silent Walk. It was like heaven, feeling nature and hearing the birds chirping. I also loved putting positive sticky notes on the mirror, creating a positive start to my mornings.

Starting with ‘P,’ I learned to instill positivity in myself. Activities revolved around thinking positively, gratitude, behavior, and expressing myself more enthusiastically. This helped me become more expressive and incorporate meditation and visualization into my routine, leading to achieving some of my goals.

It revolved around activating engagement. I started finding inspiration and creativity in myself, improving decision-making, and stressing less. This shift in mindset brought increased confidence and a positive change in my approach to life.

This week of the Perma Project of Happiness focused on engagement, proving to be a game-changer. Being fully engaged in activities made time fly, and techniques like mindfulness and the flow state enhanced my presence and immersion in what I was doing.
