Play on Social Issues

Chitkara School of Languages will be performing a play on social issues on women and it will be enacted by B-Ed students. The play will be organized by Ms. Padma Siva. The play is set to presented on November 12, 2013.

This play talks about the discrimination faced by women and the harassment they face every day by their surroundings. They are victims of crime directed specifically at them, dowry-related crimes, domestic violence, gender discrimination, acid attack, eve teasing, etc.

The objective of this play is aimed at elimination of all forms of discrimination against women and changing the societal attitudes and community practices by active participation and involvement of both men and women. The play intends to spread awareness about all social problems women face in their day-to-day lives to bring about a positive change among youngsters.
