With an aim to provide global exposure to students, a global engineering week at Chitkara University will be held from March 30 to April 6.

Chitkara University has always focused on providing an edge to our students and for this, timely global exposure is a regular at Chitkara University. With this aim, a global engineering week is being organized at Chitkara University from March 30 to April 6, 2013.

Global awareness will be the focal point of this annual event along with students witnessing an amalgamation of various cultures from around the globe.

Universities from various countries like Australia, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, France, Finland, and Scotland will be taking part in the annual event. With this, our students will get a detailed expertise on how to work in the global arena with information delivered by experts.

Professors from our partner universities will be delving on issues like Cloud Computing, Sustainable ICT, Mobile Computing, Data Mining, Embedded Systems, Sensor Networks, Climate Science, Digital Design, and much more during first half of the day in forms of parallel workshops.

Followed by the workshops will be presentations on diverse worldwide study curriculum. This includes semester exchange, along with an array of summer school programs, dual degree programs and twinning programs.

The objective is also to inspire the students to discover new countries and new cultures.

During the second half of the day, in a bid to initiate knowledge sharing and enhance bonds, faculty at Chitkara University will interact with professors from foreign universities and there will be round table discussions on various issues.
