Current Developments in Applied Sciences: An Interdisciplinary Approach
Significance of FEP: Recent advances in research based on interplay between various areas of sciences have opened up new challenges and opportunities for interdisciplinary research in the fields of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Material Science and Environmental Sciences. The primary goal of the FEP is to provide scientists, engineers and other professionals with a forum to actively engage in research discussions and professional development, as well as applications of sciences in engineering and allied areas.
This FEP will allow the faculty members to update their research strategies and enhance their ability to work in interdisciplinary areas. This approach caters higher order thinking skills and integrated pedagogy to the participants. Besides, it will build the capacity of faculty members in their concerned field of research by exploring them to the latest concepts, information and techniques.
Objectives of FEP: The FEP will touch upon aspects of the research progress in the interdisciplinary fields of sciences such as:
- Provide exposure to the participants to various interdisciplinary fields of research.
- Motivate the need for research in frontier areas.
- Facilitate participants to observe different perspectives, work in groups and make the synthesize of disciplines.
Who can apply: Faculty members from disciplines of all branches of Science, Engineering, Nanotechnology and Health Sciences.
