Dhruva Rao

A post graduate of the Animation Program at the National Institute of Design, Dhruva is an imaginative and enthusiastic creative director + educator with 10+ years experience In working with visual narratives across mediums. He is also the co-founder of Bechain Nagri Studios, an animation studio with the aim to develop original, relatable Indian animated IP. Led a team of writers, artists and animators and established a pipeline for vernacular animated series. Wrote, developed and directed original Indian adult animated series pitches.

He comes with a significant background in creative thinking in direction and specialises primarily in storytelling, visual scripting, narrative building, creative thinking, graphic novels, writing for animation, film direction and animated IP creation.
