The presence of leading Indian B-schools in the global list is a huge endorsement of the improvement in quality and approach towards business education in India. Chitkara Business School maintains an innovative approach and makes concerted efforts to keep their curricula updated with the demands of the times, to churn out industry-ready graduates.
The Outlook-Drshti Survey observed that a welcome development in the last couple of years has been that some B-schools are offering Global MBA courses, which will help students make the world their stage and prepare them for a global role. The survey further observed that going forward, the industry will be more demanding and gradually, the entire world will become the students’ arena. Business schools will have to be proactive in preparing their students to face new challenges, and the new list of top 100 B-schools met this criterion. .
To conduct the ranking of India’s best B-schools, Drshti Strategic Research Services designed a detailed and rigorous methodology involving inputs from all the stakeholders—B-schools, recruiters, faculty and students. Points obtained by colleges on the five parameters – Placements, Infrastructure & facilities, Academic excellence, Selection process, Personality Development & Industry exposure – were derived on the basis of the data provided by the institutes and summed together to arrive at the final objective scores. The perceptual ranking was derived by allotting weightage of 40, 30 and 30 percentage to the perceptions of recruiters/ industry professionals, faculty members and students respectively.
