Hon’ble Chancellor, Dr. Ashok Chitkara taught the module ‘Business Ethics, Values and Leadership’ to our MBA students. It’s the 7th year in a row that he is taking this masterclass. 380 MBA students of Chitkara Business School and 30 students of Chitkara College of Sales and Retail Marketing participated during these six days full of immense knowledge and valuable lessons. This is a six days and 36 hours compulsory module in form of a Masterclass for MBA students of Chitkara University, Punjab. This module is personally taught by Dr.Chitkara in order to instil positivity, leadership qualities, business ethics, human values and learning attitude among Business Graduates of Chitkara University.
Dr. Chitkara started taking this module in 2014. The module covers the various aspects of business operations where ethics and values can play a significant role in creating a sustainable business. The module includes several popular case study discussions, assignments, role plays, experiential learning and lecturing on various aspects of business management in the areas of marketing, HR, finance and operations. As a regular practice, every year, the module ends with a launch of a book titled “You Can Also Lead” which is written by Dr. Ashok Chitkara. The book contains one page dream/vision of each participant. With the passing of each year, the MBA participants have experienced a lot of new learnings in the areas of leadership, understanding self, ethics and human values, marketing, finance, HR and other areas of business operations.
