Online Management Development Program on Fundamental Analysis and Value Investing

Chitkara Business School, Chitkara University will organize a five-day online management development program (MDP) on fundamental analysis and value investing from 20th September to 24th September 2021.

Program Objective

Investors have a plethora of alternatives for spending their hard-earned money, and one of the most rewarding is investing in a company’s equity. However, a lack of understanding of how to choose these profitable/rewarding stocks results in a decline in their returns. This MDP is ideal for people who want to learn how to invest in the stock market.

Content of the Program

• Introduction to Fundamental Analysis: Scope & Uses, risk-return analysis
• Understanding Macro Parameter and its impact on Business trajectory
• Discussion on Value investing strategies of Warren Buffet, Benjamin Graham, Peter Lynch etc.
• Impact of Monetary and Fiscal measures
• Reading/understanding Financial Statement – Balance Sheet, P & L Account, Cash Flow Statement etc.
• Understanding Ratio/ Margins and its interpretation
• Liquidity/Profitability/ Coverage/Leverage Ratio and its utility
• Gross Profit/ Operating Profit/ EBIT / PAT Margin – for Efficiency testing
• Learning Relative Valuation concept and interpretation
• Real life case studies of different companies

Fees

• For Early birds (till 16th August 2021) – INR 1500
• After 16th August till 15th September 2021 – INR 1750
