BBA in Aviation Management imparts the participant with a comprehensive knowledge in the core areas of management and business and specific areas related to aviation business, airport & airline operations and travel sales operations. Some specialised certificate courses are being offered in collaboration with IATA and Aerotech to prepare students for careers such as airline operations, airport management, aviation safety and security, cargo security, revenue management, business consulting, customer services etc. A participant who wishes to be an airline manager, airport manager, or logistics expert, an aviation management degree is one of the best options available.
The program aims to provide high-quality business education with a focus on the aviation industry. The curriculum is carefully designed to integrate core business courses with specialised major courses that focus on topics related to airline and airport management.
The students are provided with learning which blends classroom lectures with group activities, seminars by industry experts, and practical internships. This combination ensures that graduates are well prepared for employment in the business and aviation-related fields and are qualified to pursue graduate studies.
Note: Non-credit courses are also offered other than curriculum like community service, Literacy Initiatives, Short term Internships, Summer School, Exchange Programs with International Exposure as a means of providing experiential learning and enhancing the knowledge of the students.
