Chitkara University Celebrates Karwa Chauth with Grandeur and Tradition

Chitkara University, hosted a vibrant Karwa Chauth celebration, organised by the Office of Student Affairs, transforming the campus into a hub of cultural festivity and artistic expression. The Alpha Zone, adorned with an array of colourful stalls and activities, became the epicentre of the joyous occasion, blending tradition with modernity in an engaging and heartfelt celebration.

The festivities showcased the spirit of Karwa Chauth, a festival that symbolises devotion and love, through thoughtfully curated activities and displays. Mehendi artists skilfully adorned palms with intricate designs, capturing the essence of the occasion. Surrounding stalls offered an eclectic mix of handcrafted goods, from elegant jewellery and embroidered Punjabi juttis to fragrant candles and delicate crochet crafts.

Adding a contemporary touch to the celebration, resin art and bespoke nail designs drew considerable attention, while stalls featuring beads and bookmarks displayed craftsmanship in every tiny detail. The vibrant energy was palpable as students and faculty came together to celebrate the festival’s rich cultural heritage.
