Chitkara University Hosts Voyage-Themed Fresher’s Party Bienvenue 2024
Chitkara University came alive with an air of festivity and camaraderie as it hosted Bienvenue 2024, an enthralling fresher’s party themed Voyage 360: The World in Motion. The event not only welcomed the newest members of the Chitkara family but also celebrated the spirit of new beginnings with a dazzling showcase of talent, creativity, and cultural vibrancy.
The evening commenced with a stunning ramp walk, where freshers captivated the audience with their elegance and poise, symbolising their entry into an exciting new chapter of life. This was followed by a talent round, which transformed the stage into a canvas of brilliance, featuring performances ranging from electrifying dance routines to soul-stirring musical renditions. Each act highlighted the untapped potential and diversity of the incoming batch.
The questionnaire round added a lively twist, with freshers impressing the judges—eminent academician Dr. Amrita Kaur and renowned model Ms. Guramrit Kaur—with their charm, wit, and confidence. Their engaging responses added depth to the event, showcasing their individuality and readiness to embrace challenges.
Adding to the night’s grandeur were spellbinding performances by university cultural groups. The rhythmic beats of Dhwani Band, the elegance of Natraj’s classical dance, and the infectious energy of The Bhangra Regiment ignited the crowd’s enthusiasm. Maritime students and OSA’s Core and Club Heads were also recognised for their invaluable contributions to university events, further enriching the celebratory atmosphere.
As the highlight of the night, renowned singer Ms. Jyoti Nooran took the stage, her soulful voice weaving an unforgettable musical journey that resonated deeply with the audience.
