Khelanand Mela 2024—A Showcase of Talent and Sportsmanship
Khelanand Mela 2024, organised by Chitkara College of Pharmacy in collaboration with the Chitkara University Sports Board, was a resounding success, drawing enthusiastic participation from students across various disciplines. The event, held at Chitkara University, Punjab, highlighted the institution’s commitment to fostering a spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and holistic development among its students.
The mela featured a range of sports, including badminton, chess, carrom, darts, and basketball, where students showcased their skills and competitive spirit. The atmosphere was electric as participants and spectators alike enjoyed the vibrant display of talent.
In the Men’s Badminton category, Aaryan emerged victorious, while Akhil secured the runner-up position. In the Women’s Badminton event, Amrit Kaur claimed the top spot, with Guntash finishing as the runner-up. The Chess competition saw Yuvraj take first place, followed closely by Hrishab. The Carrom event was equally thrilling, with Aayush Bansal winning the title and Aman Rana coming in second.
In the Darts competition, Vinay Kumar won the Men’s category, with Anshul as the runner-up. For the Women’s Darts, Fhreya Chakkal took the top honours, followed by Kanishka. The Basketball tournament saw fierce competition, with Team Lakshav emerging as the winner, leaving Team Harshit as the runner-up.
