Entrepreneurship Empowerment program
The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) an apex body under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medum Enterprises, Government of India, will be undertaking ‘Workshop on Entrepreneurship’ at Chitkara University, Punjab, on February 10, 2014.
More than 200 students of MBA, BBA and B.Com from Chitkara Business School will participate in this Workshop.
The workshop will cover : Statutory compliances, clearances and approval procedures, How to take loan from Bank, Marketing of Products, Qualities of Entrepreneur, Project Preparations, Business Communication, Government Schemes, Self employment, Success story and Taxation structure in India. Considering the requirements, NIESBUD has an aim to educate and encourage 1,00,000 students for being an Entrepreneur.
Emphasizing on need to Entrepreneurship, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University, Punjab, said, “The purpose of professional education is to encourage entrepreneurship among bright young minds. We at Chitkara feel to empower young minds with creative ideas and courage to add value to economy of India by raising their employability quotient by such efforts.”
