Tynor and Chitkara University Partner for AI-Powered Defect Detection in Healthcare Products

Chitkara University and Tynor, a leading healthcare products company, have signed an Agreement for Project Work (APW) for “AI Powered Defect Detection and Quality Control”. The project is being led by a team of faculty members in Edge Computing, AI, and Mechatronics, including Dr. PK Khosla, Dr. Sushil Narang, and Dr. Gurpreet Singh. The total sanctioned cost for the project is Rs 44 lakh.

During a visit to Chitkara University, Dr. PJ Singh, CMD of Tynor and Chairman of CII Punjab, handed over a cheque to Hon’ble Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor of Chitkara University. Dr. Singh expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating that this is just the beginning and that Tynor and Chitkara University will likely sign many more APWs in the near future.

The project represents an important collaboration between industry and academia to develop AI-powered solutions for quality control in the healthcare industry. The project team brings together expertise in AI, mechatronics, and edge computing to tackle this challenging problem. The partnership between Tynor and Chitkara University has the potential to lead to important advances in the field of healthcare technology.
