Dr. Madhu Chitkara addresses 2022 QS Higher Ed Summit: Middle East and Africa

Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro Chancellor, Chitkara University addressed the audience at the 2022 QS Higher Ed Summit: Middle East and Africa which was organized from March 1st, 2022 to March 3rd, 2022 at the Shangri La Hotel, Dubai. Dr. Madhu Chitkara was accompanied by Dr. Ashok Chitkara, Chancellor, Chitkara University who interacted with government officials and education leaders from universities and exchanged views on various aspects pertaining education.

The 2022 QS Higher Ed Summit: Middle East and Africa explores how innovation is being pushed by higher education, the business community, and students. Under the theme Innovation enabling environments, the summit considers what innovation means, the ways it can be fostered, and its importance in addressing shifting and overlapping priorities at a country and regional level. Dr. Madhu Chitkara shared her insights on the topic ‘The Future of Indian Universities: Soviety 5.0 and Industry 5.0 as Driving Force’. She talked about societal changes, it’s direct impact on education and how academia continuously evolves and keeps its pace with society. Sharing her experience of almost 45 years, she expressed her thoughts about the recent technology changes that has spearheaded at a very rapid pace, and how technology has replaced the human space in recent times. Concluding her address, she laid emphasis on the importance of embracing these changes with an open heart.
